About the Company

Setra is one of Sweden's largest wood industry companies with approximately 800 employees. The group includes seven sawmills, two processing units – one of which is located in the UK, headquarters and sales offices in Sweden, as well as seven different sales offices abroad. In the facilities, they manufacture sawn and processed wood products, as well as bioproducts, from spruce and pine from Swedish forests. With extensive knowledge, innovative thinking, high industrial capacity, and smart processes, raw materials from the forest are transformed into climate-smart products of the right quality for all customer needs. In this way, Setra helps several of its customers become more sustainable every day.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for driven and engaged sawmill operators for Setra Kastet who want to strengthen their production. As a sawmill operator at Setra, you will monitor parts of the process, quality sort the wood, package the final product, and perform minor maintenance. You will work independently, taking responsibility for your workplace, but you will be part of a team that supports each other in daily operations. Your knowledgeable colleagues will assist you with onboarding and share the knowledge you need to feel secure in your work. The work is scheduled for two shifts and starts as soon as possible.

Your Profile

We would like you to be a responsible and driven person who wants to help where needed. You are safety and quality conscious, and you enjoy working independently. If you have previous experience from working in sawmills, planing mills, or similar experience from process industries, we consider that an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have a strong desire to learn and are curious about Setra. At Setra, it is important that the quality of production is maintained at a high level every day, where you will play an important role in ensuring that work flows smoothly during production time.
